Marian Pellegrino was born in 1984 in the city of Río Tercero (Cordoba Province), Argentina, and began her journey with music at the age of 4.She started formal education of classical guitar when she was 11 years old and soon she became interested on other styles like jazz and rock, so she started to play the electric guitar. She also studied and plays clarinet, saxophone, violin and drums. When she was 12 she joined the band “Vientos del sur” as guitarist, participating in the international meeting of young musicians in 1996 and 1997, and in the National Party “Oktoberfest XXXIII Beer Festival 1997”.

In 1998 she finished her music studies at “Escuela Minicipal de Música de Villa General Belgrano” getting her degree as “Guitar Musician of Union Cordobesa de la Provincia de Cordoba” Marian entered in the Argentinian folk band “Patricia Pahs” as guitarist and arranger in 1999, participating in the most important folk festivals of the country (34Th Festival Nacional de Doma y Folklore Jesus Maria / 43rd Festival de la Tradición Norteña de Cordoba) Early in 2000 she joined the vocal group “DA VINCI”, as guitarist and singer, and started several vocal projects, getting the 1st Prize in Folk Vocal Ensemble (Intercollegiate Editions 2000 and 2001, organized by the Culture Agency of Cordoba Province) She participated in Cosquin folk festival (Peña of the Peña Copla and House of Cosquín Carabajal) as guitarist of the renowned singer Marcelo Mitre. During the 2002, answering to the call of the singer Julieta Ghibaudo (now dedicated to tango music) she joined the all girl rock band “LUCILA CUEVA” , being incharged of the vocals, lyrics and songs composing. In summer 2003 they went on tour to Santa Rosa de Calamuchita, and between 2003 and 2005 they played every Friday in the famous pub “María María” located in the capital city of Cordoba (Argentina). In 2005 she played with “LUCILA CUEVA” in Pajas Blancas Center before the show of the most important rock band of Argentina nowadays LA RENGA to more than 11,000 people. Some months later Rolling Stone Magazine , number 89, under the title "New Faces. On rise " This year they published their first LP and closed an amazing year wining the “4th Cavern Rock Festival 2005”, getting the first place between 209 bands from all around the country, the prize of this contest: a ticket to Liverpool (England) to play at The Cavern , the legendary cave grew up to THE BEATLES during the Easter week. After this festival, the tour continued in London, Paris, Barcelona and finally Ibiza. Back in Argentina, the band was ready to publish their first disk, in November 2007 A-TIPICA RECORDS did the edition and distribution. This album featured the artistic production of ALFONSO BARBIERI and was recorded in STUDIO 34 by ESTEBAN "TEVI" CABOTI. In 2008 the Rolling Stone Magazine, chose the theme "Noches de sol" as the recommended song of the year. They also allude to the record "YO SOY ROCK" Magazine, Diario La Voz del Interior, Página 12 and the most important newspapers of the country. In this year they shot their first video clip for “Naufragio” , produced by CLAUDIO ROSA and his team of GARABATO Productions . Clarin newspaper names “Lucila Cueva” the revelation of the festival Cosquin Rock 2008 and MTV started showing the new video clip. When the Mexican mythic band "EL TRI" participated in the Cosquin Rock they could hear the power of Marian`s voice and guitar. Some time later their guitarist Lalo Chico became her “artistic godfather”. Another important issue of the year was new version of the song “Todo un palo” done by Marian for the album “Migajas de rock maravilla” (in tribute to the famous band “Redonditos de Ricota” produced and distributed by the National Journal “ARDE ROCK” Introducing their songs to the Capital city of BUENOS AIRES, they performed live at the TV program of Urtizberea MEX, and Marian was interviewed by the rock journalist Mario Pergolini, who selected the theme “No creo entender” on the famous rock radio “ROCK AND POP” . In Summer 2009 she starts a new period, with new partners and new goals ... “Marian Pellegrino & THE FENIX PROJECT ROCK” playing during the hole season at the famous hippie market of Ibiza “Las Dalias” , a stage where great musicians had played before (Brian May, Deep Purple, Judas Priest, Charly García, Hit, Bob Marley). New songs in Spanish and English were composed by Marian, who returned to the island of Ibiza in 2010 to complete another successful season of energetic rock and to start the production of her new rock album. In Ibiza she has already recorded in 2009 with Q DeRHINO, for a compilation of DIABLITO RECORDS (Palma De Mallorca).
